Took my boy Loki in for a nail trimming. The girl that took us in (im so sorry I forgot your name🤣) but she was lovely and told us what to look out for next time and when to get one done as Loki had pretty good nails apart from a couple that needed it definitely going to come back next time Loki needs a nail trimming.

My dog absolutely loves going and gets so excited every time we arrive. Its such relief knowing theyre well looked after, getting plenty of exercise, socialisation, and love throughout the day. The updates and photos are always a highlight too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for their furry friend!!

Our dog loves coming to Kuri, full bum wags when we drop him off!
We love that the staff post photos/videos during the day so we can see what he's up to and that he comes home happy and tired from his big days

Doogie has been going to kuri daycare since he was a pup. He’s now nearly 10 and still loves going. He rushes me along on his daycare days in a hurry to get there. They do all sorts of enriching experiences, thinking outside of the box for different things to do. They have fun theme days once a month. The photos posted show he’s enjoying every minute of it be that cuddles or play time. Though I would say play time with the toys is his favourite.

Great service everytime. Amazing staff. Good range of frozen raw dog food options for avoiding beef and chicken also.

My wee guy Archie absolutely loves going here, he gets so excited in the car on the way, honestly if you are thinking about sending your wee pup to daycare Kuri is simply the BEST ❤️

We take our dog Penny to Kuri City Doggy Daycare twice a week, and she loves it, she gets so excited when we pull into the drive and can't wait to get in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they offer great advice and we know that Penny is in the best care, plus they stream their daily activities and have fun themed days organised throughout the year. It's also great having a groomer onsite, we can book Penny in on the same day as her daycare and have everything looked after all at once. Would definitely recommend giving Kuri a try.

Really happy with the groom my Pomeranian had a few days ago. She looks so neat and tidy, and it’s honestly one of the best grooms she’s had. You can tell a lot of care was taken, and she came home looking great. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back!

I get my dog food here, its Raw and she loves it, it keeps her slim fit and healthy X

First time using this service and really happy with their service too. Our dog was in a bad shape regarding his coat and condition it was in and we needed a full short groom so it would make it easier for us to maintain at home. Our boy came home looking fresh and sharp. We had to pay and extra $10 on top of the standard groom rate which I thought would've been more however it wasn't so that was also a relief as well. I didn't get to meet the staff however my daughter said they were very friendly and accommodating to our boy as well. We will definitely be coming back for sure!

Larry my 5 month old Westie goes to Kuri twice a week for fill days when I work from the office. He absolutely loves it, he’s so excited to get there and doesn’t even look back at me. When I pick him up at the end of the day, he’s a good tired. He’s started to learn how to entertain himself, he rests at home now whereas before I had to crate him to get him to chill and he’s very comfortable meeting new dogs on our walks.

Absolutely loved the customer service as well as how well they are with pets, I loved my dogs groom! Her coat really needed a good trim and the service they provided was exactly what I asked for she looks so much lighter and her coat looks so good after the 2nd day of being groomed. The staff are so caring to my fur friend, we have been a customer for 10 years and totally recommend the puppy training, doggie day care and grooming. At doggie day care the lovely team engage with the dogs but also give them down time. One of my favorite things are the monthly event Fridays 😀

Molly has only ever been groomed by Shannon. The best groomer. So patient and good at her job. I also love the overall service at Kuri. Been going to them for years now.

The dog grooming at Kuri City Doggy Daycare is awesome. Shannon loves the dogs and treats them like her own, her understanding of their natures and requirements is truly amazing. She is always happy, positive and the dogs are relaxed in her care. My elderly Bichon comes home happy, smelling great and looking handsome. Would strongly recommend Shannon as a groomer. The facilities are also fantastic plus Shannon is supported by an amazing team!

Our dogs are always happy and excited when they know the car is near Kuri - they go in wagging and come out at the end of the day wagging.

My Franklin absolutely adores going to doggy daycare here. You can tell they really care and look after the dogs with mental stimulation, cuddles and lots of fun throughout the day. I love being able to see my baby on the instagram stories during the day also. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I am very happy with Kuri's grooming services. Leo comes away look so handsome and happy. Shannon is so good with him and is happy to adjust any grooming to Leo's needs.

My wee Coco loves her days at Kuri. She always has a waggy tail when she goes in and doesn't even look back. That's high praise!

Kuri City did an excellent job on my Cavoodle dog. Great haircut. Highly recommend.

The Kuri Team are the best in Christchurch. They are always helpful and take pride in giving me the best advice and care for my dog. Shannan and her grooming team cannot be beaten. Welcoming reception, great dog food, treats, & accessory shopping, & Ted & I both love Shannon who has a special way with dogs. Following his groom Ted always looks very handsome & smells of 'aftershave' & he enjoys all the extra attention he gets as a result!

My Sheprador was suffering a bad skin condition for a few months. We took him to the vet, tested for notes and everything. Tried at home and over the counter treatments, until it occurred to me that DIET is probably the cause.
I’ve read that German Shepherds can be allergic to Chicken, and other proteins. As he got worse, scratching and pulling out his fur - a Raw diet was on the cards for the new year. I’m so glad I chose KURI.
Both of my dogs love it beyond belief, and within a couple of weeks, his skin condition was basically gone. The hair is still growing back around his legs and belly, but he’s finally able to relax! ☺️

I've been a KURI client for 5 years, across the full range of their services. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, their products are high quality, and the trainers and groomers adapt to my dog's preferences and personality.

Isana and Hannah and all the team at Kuri are fantastic. Our border terrier loves them like family and they look after her so well (even when she turns up for daycare stinky and wet!). A big shout out to the Kuri team. Thank you, you do an awesome job.

Lovely customer service when I went in!

After feeding my Leonberger, who was struggling with allergies and skin issues. We started buying venison, heart and tripe from Kuri, we won't go anywhere else now. His weight is improving, his energy is increasing and he fricken loves it. Which, everyone knows is the main thing. Thanks for your products, we will see you every couple of weeks.

Both my Siberian Huskies love going to see Shannon (Groomer) at Kuri and they always come back looking really good and so happy.

My mini schnauzer Ace always has an amazing time at Kuri, super excited to get out of the car when he realises where he is. At the end of the day he is so tired from all the fun he barely makes it a block before he is passed out on the back seat. Staff are just lovely. Oh and their grooming service is pretty good as well 🙂

My three small dogs (terriers) had a groom yesterday - they are so soft and fluffy and were clearly well looked after by the lovely ladies at Kuri. I’m very happy - and so are my three little rascals! 🐶🐶🐶

Got my pup his first groom and Kuri did such an amazing job! I wasn’t expecting them to get much as I thought he would be difficult seeing as it’s first time, but they exceeded expectations and made him look so good plus got the matted parts too. Staff were also informative on how to brush pup properly. Will definitely be coming back for his next from groom!

We have just completed the 6 week puppy class and would highly recommend it. Shannon is friendly and caring and exceptionally knowledgeable when it comes to puppy training. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does is infectious and we finished the course feeling very confident and well equipped to continue training our Border Collie x Golden Retriever, Basil. Shannon went above and beyond with her time and helping us with any queries we had with Basil and we cannot thank her enough. She is a credit to Kuri and we will miss our weekly sessions very much!

I take my wee dog Ernie to daycare here every Tuesday and he LOVES it! He gets so excited when I drop him off and he sees the staff, never bothering to say goodbye to me 🤣 I love being able to see what he's up to on Kuri's Facebook stories during the day. Ernie comes home super tired after a long day of playing with his little mates. It's great for him to have somewhere to burn off some steam, but also get lots of socialisation too!

Absolutely the best day care for small dogs in Christchurch. Wonderful caring staff, great facility and they give back every week by hosting the Dominion Chihuahua Club playgroup. Can’t recommend them highly enough

Hannah is so patient and attentive with my mini schnauzer who is more on the anxious side. She is an excellent groomer and my puppy always walks out looking extra cute and not to mention extra happy and tail wagging from all of the love and attention from the Kuri team! 😊
We also did puppy training with Shannon when our pup was little, I 100% recommend these classes at Kuri to anyone with a new puppy - it is worth the price you pay! Shannon is such an excellent trainer and teacher who is non judgemental and friendly. My puppy loved our weekly sessions as did her humans, we learnt so many foundational skills whilst having a lot of fun - so much so we were sad when the course came to an end 😂

Ted really enjoys his time at kuri. Due to spinal surgery last year, he's just started a morning every now and then. He loves his pals and all the fabulous staff ❤️

Our Miniature Schnauzer, Gus, enjoys his playdates at Kuri. The staff genuinely care for our wee man and make each day a balance of play and rest.

We have a 4.5kg Yorky/Silkie cross that's the smallest dog with the biggest personality. I can't get near her claws to trim them, but between the groomer and me, we get it done. Can't rate them highly enough.

Delighted to post a review of this business. Our relationship with Kuri began with its yet to join groomer Shannon some 12 years ago. We cannot speak highly enough of Shannon, her caring attitude and genuine love for her work are truly exceptional and her grooming standards have never been questioned.Other staff have been friendly and enthusiastic about their charges, and exude confidence any pet will be well looked after.

A great place for my little pup. Can relax when I am at work knowing he is in good hands.

We are lucky enough to regularly take our small white fluff ball to Kuri for grooms. We cannot recommend Shannon highly enough, she has worked with our dog through some nervousness about grooms, showing so much patience and kindness to both us and our pup. His haircuts are always top notch and he comes home smelling delicious. As first time dog owners, we feel so lucky to have found Shannon as a groomer.

Our Labrador Storm loved the classes which where very easy to follow for both Dog and Owner, the results have been amazing. We thoroughly recommend Shannon at Kuri City's dog training classes.

My dog loves visiting Kuri - she always gets so excited when we arrive. She stays at daycare at least once per week and gets groomed here too.
I know whenever she’s at Kuri, she will be well looked after, be well entertained, and enjoy socialising with other small dogs. Lovely place, the staff clearly love dogs and are very caring and skilled.

I took my wee boy at 9 weeks old and he and i learnt so much. My boy is so good at the commands. The classes were fun and informative and shannon is an amazing tutor.
100% recommend.

Kuri is such a safe and caring environment for our fur baby. The staff are so attentive and provide fun activities everyday. He comes home pooped! Most importantly, our boy loves the staff and we feel safe to leave him in their care.

Ron and pearl love kuri, they come home so happy and I can see what they are up to over social media. I feel content entrusting my little babies with the staff and I know they are safe and loved. My dogs mean the world to me and knowing that they are having the best time at kuri makes me so happy

Our Willow loves going to Kuri to hang out with her doggy and human friends we have no worries about leaving her there she is well cared for by the team and is both mentally and physically taken care of.

Best doggy daycare. I can't speak highly enough of the team and the care my dog gets. My dog loves it and is stimulated with different activities during the day that I can see on Instagram. I have looked at other doggy daycares but Kuri is the best by far!!

Took my boy Schnitzel in for a groom and had Shannon McGarry give him a much needed hair cut. He was matted and over grown but Shannon had done awesome job and made him look like the handsome boy he is again. 100% will be taking Schnitzel back as Shannon and the team was awesome to deal with and the service was incredible!

I switched both my dogs to Kuri food and they've both never been in better condition. It can be really hard to find clothing, harnesses and toys for small dogs, but Kuri has lots of good quality options in that way too!
The doggy daycare area is awesome and I feel really comfortable with my little one running around free there. Lovely safe environment with lots of fun to be had. Thanks Kuri!

We absolutely love the Kuri centre. Fantastic venue, great staff who are so lovely and knowledgeable. They also support a lot of community groups which is awesome. Highly recommend!

Great place for a birthday party. We had a wonderful time. So well set up.
Playgroup every Saturday for The Dominion Chichuahua Club. 10am till 11am. Best place for accessories & dog food. Wonderful advice & very caring.

Carlos, my 2 year old toy cavoodle absolutely LOVES his days at Kuri. He wriggles with excitement when he arrives, and comes home tired out from playing. Great staff as well.
